DIRECTIONS TO SUGARLOAF MOUNTAIN

• Take the 405 Freeway NORTH to the 5 Freeway.

• Take the 5 Freeway North to the CA State Route 14.

• Take CA State Route 14 NORTH for approximately 67 miles to Mojave.

• At Mojave, CA State Route 14 bears to the RIGHT.

• Continue on CA State Route 14 for approximately 15 miles.

• You will pass “Jawbone Canyon Store” on your left.

• Approx. one mile after, turn left onto JAWBONE CANYON ROAD.

• Turn west onto Jawbone Canyon Road from St. Route 14.

• Drive 1.9 miles west on Jawbone Canyon Road. (.8 mile past white aqueduct)

• Turn right onto dirt road.

• When road forks, bear left.

• At crest of top of mountain (look for steel pole on left) make hard (dog leg) left turn.  Continue to top of canyon/cliff.
